Scrum Talk Daily - # 14
Scrum Events # 4 - Sprint Review

The purpose of the Sprint Review is to inspect the outcome of the Sprint and determine future adaptations. The Scrum Team presents the results of their work to key stakeholders and progress toward the Product Goal is discussed.

This event is key to making sure the product is on track. In my experience, user-based iteration is the ideal environment for making a product your users want, not what you think they want.

What if we replace the word "stakeholders" with "users"?

...presents the results of their work to key users...

If you were discussing the trajectory of your product with those who will use it, do you think your team and stakeholders would have a better idea of the adaptations are needed for the product direction? Would this result in better user acceptance upon release?

How often are you making contact with users? During your Sprint Reviews, are only stakeholders giving feedback on your increment?
